Sad News from Congregation Agudath Sholom

We are sorry to announce the passing of Joseph Macy, beloved father of Toby Schaffer and Barbara Friedman and grandfather to Pamela Singer, Katie Gamzeh, Daniel Schaffer, Elliot Freidman, Laura Freidman, and Aaron Friedman.
The funeral will be held on Thursday, Sept. 15th at 11 am at Congregation Ahavath Achim on 1571 Stratfield Rd in Fairfield, CT ( Click here for directions) followed by burial at the Ahavath Achim Cemetery on Reed Street.
Shiva will be observed on Thursday at the Macy Home (182 Woody Lane in Fairfield) with minyan at 6:50 pm, Friday, Saturday night and Sunday (662 Strawberry Hill Ave in Stamford) with minyanim at 7 am on Friday, Sunday 8 am and 6:40 pm and Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday morning (222 Fountain Rd in Englewood, NJ).
May Toby, Barbara and the entire Macy/Schaffer family be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.
