We are sorry to announce the passing of Harry Alter, 91, a charter member of Agudath Sholom. He is survived by his daughters, Frances Pribish (David) and Gail Sacco (Joseph); his grandchildren, Jaime Watson (Kevin), Ian Herman (Elizabeth), Daniel and Claire Sacco; his 2 great-grandchildren. A service will be held Wednesday, April 28th at 2:00 p.m. at Leo Gallagher & Son. Burial will follow immediately at the Independent Stamford Lodge Cemetery in Darien.
Shiva will be on Wednesday, 4/28 and Thursday, 4/29 at the home of Frances Pribish, 26B Weed Hill Avenue, Stamford, CT.
Donations may be sent to The Fellowship for Jewish Learning, P.O. Box 17291, Stamford, CT or the Voorheesville Public Library, 51 School Road, Voorheesville, NY 12186. May their entire family be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.
