We are sorry to announce the passing of Ellen Carter, beloved mother of Rachel (Richard z"l) Seligson, Rosalind (William) Wertheim, Ruth Carter and Robin Carter and grandmother to Alexander, Daniel and Emily Seligson, Ariel (Deborah), Anna and Matthew Wertheim, and Abi and Hattie Stringer.
A private burial will be on Sunday July 28th at 1:00 pm at Congregation Ahavat Achim Cemetery, Colchester, CT or via Zoom.
Rachel will sit shiva at her home - 67 Apple Tree Drive in Stamford - Sunday, Monday, Thursday and Friday and on Long Island Tuesday and Wednesday. Rachel will be davening at the shul during the week.
Shiva hours will be Sunday (after the levayah) from 7:00 - 9:30 pm, Monday and Thursday from 9:00 am - 9:00 pm with breaks from 12:30 - 1:30 and 6:00 - 7:00; and on Friday from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm. Rachel can be reached at rachelseligson67@gmail.com.
