Sad News from Congregation Agudath Sholom

We are sorry to announce the passing of Tzipora Steinmetz, beloved

mother of Steven (Liba) Steinmetz, grandmother to Shoshana, Seth (Tzivy), Philip (Eve) and Jennifer (Ronen) and many great grandchildren. 


The funeral was held today.


The family will sit shiva today at the Steinmetz home, 1273 North Avenue, Apt. 9-4C, New Rochelle, NY. 


Steve will sit shiva at his home, 141 East Lane, in Stamford beginning Monday morning through Friday afternoon at 4 PM.


Shiva will be daily after morning minyan with a break between 12 PM and 1 PM until

9:30 PM at night. Shiva hours wil end at 4 PM on Friday.


Minyanim are as follows:

Monday - Friday morning at 7:00 AM

Monday - Thursday evening at 7:30 PM

We are sorry to announce the passing of Tibor Krausz, מאיר בן אברהם מנחם,

beloved father of Emilio Krausz.


The levaia will be tomorrow afternoon in São Paulo. 


Emilio will sit shiva in São Paulo until Wednesday, and will fly back to the US arriving Thursday morning.


He will be sitting Shiva in Stamford at his home, 70 Forest Street, 8C, starting Thursday at 1:00 PM through Friday afternoon 3:00 PM, Saturday night 9:00 PM - 10:30 AM and getting up from shiva following minyan on Sunday morning.


Minyanim will be on Thursday evening, 7:25 PM,

Friday morning at 8:00 AM and Sunday morning at 8:00 AM

Lerner, beloved mother of Gregg Lerner (Joan), Susan Lerner (Michael Roffer) and Mark Lerner (Alyssa), grandmother to Zachary Lerner (Marissa Irwin), Matthew Lerner (Anthea Levi), Jillian Roffer, Ben Roffer (fiance Nicole Engelman), Charlotte Lerner, Caroline Lerner and Elliott Lerner, and great-grandmother to Hattie, Jordan and Navah.


A private funeral will be held today.

We are sorry to announce the passing of Henna Tatham,

beloved mother of Sarah (David) Hochman, Rachel (David) Cohen of Silver Spring MD, & Ben (Olive) Tatham of Ottawa Ontario Canada, and grandmother to nine grandchildren, including Yehudit, Yael, Yoav, & Yakira. 


The funeral was held yesterday in Texas.


Sarah will sit shiva at her home, 101 Ogden Road,

from Thursday afternoon until Monday morning.
