Sad News from Congregation Agudath Sholom

We are sorry to announce the passing of Henna Tatham,

beloved mother of Sarah (David) Hochman, Rachel (David) Cohen of Silver Spring MD, & Ben (Olive) Tatham of Ottawa Ontario Canada, and grandmother to nine grandchildren, including Yehudit, Yael, Yoav, & Yakira. 


The funeral was held yesterday in Texas.


Sarah will sit shiva at her home, 101 Ogden Road,

from Thursday afternoon until Monday morning.


Shiva Hours:

Thursday: 5:00 - 9:00 PM

Friday: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Saturday night: 7:00 - 8:30 PM

Sunday: 8:00 - 11:00 am, 1:00 - 4:00 PM & 6:40 - 8:00 PM


Minyanim will be as follows:

Thursday: Mincha at 5:30 PM

Friday: Shacharit at 7:00 AM

Sunday: Shacharit at 8:00 AM and Mincha at 6:40 PM

Monday: Shacharit at 7:00 AM

We are sorry to announce the passing of David Singer, beloved husband of Judy, father of Jonathan z"l Singer (Alison), Jeremy Singer (Amy), Alisa Schwartz (Daniel) and Michael Singer (Ora); and grandfather to Adam, Jake, EJ, Jordyn, Max, Sophie, Maddie, Jonas, Emmett, Leo and Caleb.


The funeral will be held Thursday, March 5th at 12:30 pm at Congregation Agudath Sholom, followed by burial at the Congregation Agudath Sholom Cemetery - 554 West Hill Road in Stamford.


Note: Zoom information will be forthcoming.


Shiva will be observed through Wednesday morning at the Singer residence - 88 Ledge Lane in Stamford - at the following times:


Thursday: Following the funeral until 4:30 pm & 5:30 - 9:00 pm (Mincha/Maariv at 5:30 pm)

Friday: 8:00 am - noon & 1:00 - 3:00 pm

Shacharit at 8:00 am


Saturday night: 7:30 - 9 :30 pm


Sunday, Monday and Tuesday: 8:00 am - noon, 1:00 - 4:30 pm & 6:30 - 9:00 pm

Shacharit at 8:00 am and Mincha/Maariv at 6:40 pm


Wednesday: Shacharit at 8:00 am
