The funeral be held on Friday, September 25th at 10 am at Temple Beth El - 350 Roxbury Road in Stamford - followed by burial at the Congregation Agudath Shalom Cemetery - 550 West Hill Road in Stamford. A reception will immediately follow at Temple Beth El - 350 Roxbury Road in Stamford. The family will host visiting hours from 1:00 - 4:00 on Saturday, September 26 at Edgehill - 122 Palmers Hill Road in Stamford. Pre Kol Nidrei Message Congregation Agudath Sholom As we prepare to enter Yom Kippur this evening, I want to wish you and your families a Gmar Chatimah Tovah and a meaningful and uplifting Yom Kippur. One of the most striking messages of Yom Kippur comes from the Haftarah we will read tomorrow: “Share your bread with the hungry.” Isaiah reminds us that the holiness of the day is expressed not only through fasting and prayer, but through how we respond to the needs of others. Today is the final day of our CAS Food Drive benefiting the Schoke JFS Freedberg Kosher Food Pantry. If you have not yet had an opportunity, please bring non-perishable food items to the shul today when you come for Kol Nidrei. As we prepare to fast, let us help feed another family. Thank you to everyone who has already contributed and to all who continually strengthen our community through your kindness, generosity, and care for one another. May we continue to embody the values that make our community who we are. May we and our families, the Jewish people, Israel, and the entire world be sealed for a year of health, peace, blessing, unity, and good news. Sad News from Congregation Agudath Sholom We are sorry to announce the passing of Moshe Mimoun, beloved brother of Gadi (Nancy) Mimoun. The funeral was held today in Israel. Shiva will be at the Mimoun home - 102 Surrey Road in Stamford - on the following days: Wednesday and Thursday: 10 am - noon, 2 - 5 pm and 6 - 8:30 pm  Friday: 10 am - noon and 2 - 5 pm  Sunday: 10 am - noon Mincha and Maariv will take place on Wednesday and Thursday at 6:50 pm. Sad News from Congregation Agudath Sholom We are sorry to announce the passing of Esther Sloyer, beloved mother of Elliot (Diane) Sloyer and Michael Sloyer, grandmother to Rebecca (Yoni), Coby (Leora) and Zimrat and great-grandmother to Nava and Daria. The funeral will be a family graveside service on Tuesday, July 14.   Shiva will be at the Sloyer home - 35 Toilsome Brook Road in Stamford - on the following days: Tuesday: 3 pm - 9:30 pm (Minyan at 8:05 pm) Wednesday and Thursday: Minyanim at 7 am and 8:05 pm  Friday: Until 3 pm (Minyan at 7 am)  Saturday: Following Shabbos until 11 pm Sunday: Minyanim at 8 am and 8:05 pm  Monday: Minyan at 7 am   The family request no visits between noon-1:30 pm and 5:30-7 pm or after 9:30 pm.
