| Condolences to Vivi and Rabbi Yisrael Deren on the passing of Rabbi Zalman Posner, a'h beloved father of Rebbitzen Vivi Deren. Rabbi Posner, a"h was the first Chabad Lubavitch emissary to the state of Tennessee and prominent author, thinker, outreach pioneer, pulpit rabbi and Jewish hero. The funeral service will take place tomorrow Friday April 25th, leaving Shomrei Hadas Chapels - 3803 14th Avenue, Brooklyn, NY - at 10:00 am. The funeral procession will pass by Lubavitch World Headquarters - 770 Eastern Parkway, Brooklyn at 10:45 am. Interment at Old Montefiore Cemetery - 121-83 Springfield Blvd. Queens, at 11:30 am. The extended Posner family will be observing shiva through Tuesday morning at the Altein home - 1378 Union St., Brooklyn NY. Further shiva information will be forthcoming. May Hashem comfort the family among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.
