We are sorry to announce the passing of Evelyn Silber, age ninety-five, on Friday, Sept. 12. Mother of Susan Mark of Stamford, CT and Pearl Schmutter of New York, NY. Mother-in-law of Len Mark, and grandmother of David Rothberg, Mark Rothberg, Naomi Rothberg, Sara Mark and Michael Mark.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, Sept. 14 at 12 noon, at the Plaza Jewish Community Chapel, 630 Amsterdam Ave, New York, NY. Internment will take place at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, 7800 Myrtle Ave., Glendale, New York.
Shiva will be observed at the home of Pearl and Aaron Schmutter in Manhattan, Sunday through Friday. Susan Mark will conclude her shiva at the home of Susan and Len Mark, 55 Toilsome Brook Road Stamford, CT 06905 from Wednesday through Friday. Minyanim in Stamford: Wednesday 7 am and 6:50 pm
Thursday 7 am and 6:50 pm
Friday 7 am Shiva will conclude on Friday afternoon.
