Sad News from Congregation Agudath Sholom

We are sorry to announce the passing of Sydell "Syd" Hertz, longtime member of Congregation Agudath Sholom. Syd is survived by her children, Rosanna Hertz and Robert J. Thomas, Nadine Hertz Rosenzweig, and Beth and Jerry Cooper, and her seven grandchildren. She is pre-deceased by her beloved husband, Jerome Hertz and her son-in-law, Greg Rosenzweig.
The funeral will be held Friday, February 12th at 11 am at Congregation Agudath Sholom, 301 Strawberry Hill Avenue, Stamford followed by burial at Congregation Agudath Sholom Cemetery, 554 Westhill Road, Stamford.
After the burial service, friends and family will be received at the home of Beth and Jerry Cooper, 116 Wedgemere Road in Stamford ( Click here for directions), until 8 pm.
May the entire Hertz family be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.
