Sad News from
Congregation Agudath Sholom
We are deeply sorry to announce the passing of Walter Shuchatowitz, z"t"l "Mr. S.", father to Avrom Shuchatowitz, Robert Shuchatowitz and Phyllis Lander and  founder and dean of Bi Cultural Hebrew Academy. Our shul and community are eternally grateful and forever indebted to him. His legacy lives in us and future generations.

In the words of BCHA, "he was a Teacher,  Builder, Leader, Mentor & Friend.  Mr. S was far more than our school's founder and founding principal, he was our father, grandfather, mentor and guiding soul.  He was the voice that told us we can do better, he was the neshama who helped us dream of what our school and community could be.
He was a true gadol whose life and legacy will live on for generations."

The funeral will be on Friday, November 29th at 10:00 AM
Agudath Achim Cemetery, 19 Washington Street, Woburn, MA
