| We are sorry to announce the passing of Lillian Bolensky Backer, sister of Shira (Steven) Manheimer and aunt to Leora, beloved wife of David, beloved mother of Harry (Molly), Hannah Book (Ben) and Sam, beloved grandmother of Emunah, beloved daughter of Carole and the late Rabbi Harry Bolensky, beloved sister of Frimet Bolensky Herstic (Bryan) and Shira Bolensky Manheimer (Steven) and the late Sarah Bolensky, beloved aunt of Seth Herstic (Amira), Brooke Katz (Josh), Naama Kfare (Zach), Kayla Herstic and many great nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday, February 27, at 11:30 at Young Israel of White Plains, 135 Old Mamaroneck Road, White Plains, NY, followed by burial at Sharon Gardens in Valhalla, NY
Shiva will be observed at the Bolensky/Backer Home - 87 Plymouth Ave. Yonkers, NY. The family requests that no visitors come between 12:00 PM-1:00 PM and 6:00 PM-7:00 PM and after 9:00 PM, Friday after 12:00 PM Saturday Night & Sunday after 10:00 PM
